How To Choose Definitely Charming Lingerie

Lingerie is generally sexy, charming, and attractive and has a way of making you feel very sensual.

However, lingerie

can make you look and feel terrible if you choose lingerie that isn’t fitted for your

body and does not compliment you. The variety of lingerie out there doesn’t make the choice easier

either. This shouldn’t scare you or deter you from your journey to find the perfect lingerie that will

make you feel and look good.

  1. Quality of the lingerie

Quality is vital when choosing lingerie. Something that not only looks good but feels good has a way of

enhancing the experience of wearing it. Regardless of your budget, sometimes it is better to spend a

little more on good quality lingerie that is made with the good material will save you money in the long run

because you don’t have to keep going back to buy more. Quality, in turn, saves more in future.

  1. Budget

We all want the best lingerie on the market, however, lingerie can be extremely expensive and cost a lot

more than you initially expected. Fortunately, there are lingerie designers that make lingerie with good

quality material that is also affordable and looks great.

  1. Will the lingerie flatter your figure?

Although the budget is an important factor, another critical aspect to consider is how the lingerie will

flatter your body. The aim of lingerie is to leave you feeling amazing, sexy and also look great on your

body. Fitted lingerie will always look great on you.

  1. Is it comfortable and do you like the feel of it?

You can never truly look great if you are uncomfortable, discomfort is easily identifiable and that takes

away from the charm lingerie should have. If you look uncomfortable, you cannot exactly look and feel

sexy for your male companion.

Lingerie should not only be comfortable but it should also feel good and it shouldn’t make you feel

unattractive. Lingerie’s main intention is to highlight your femininity and make you feel sexy.

  1. Can you make love in it?

Although your intention might be to have a little strip tease show for your man, you must consider the

likelihood that you and your male companion might not get that far. In such situations, you must

consider if the lingerie is comfortable enough for you to have sex in.

  1. Is it the right color?

You should also consider your wardrobe and any accessories you may have when choosing the right

lingerie. Your lingerie should pair nicely with whatever accessories you intend to pair it with, for

example, the heels you intend to wear.

Will it give rise to the right reaction?

Lingerie is meant to leave you feeling sexy, but it should also be able to get the right reaction out of your

man. You should make sure that when you consider all the guideline to purchasing the best possible

lingerie you consider your man’s preferences. Your man might like a certain color or style and or amount

of visible skin, so take those into consideration when you are searching for the ideal lingerie.

How To Choose A Bra That Fits You Perfectly

Does it seem like there is not a single bra out there that fits you perfectly? Do you often stumble upon a mirror/glass door and suddenly see something protruding near your chest and are silently embarrassed? Trust me when I say this, I know exactly how you feel. I’ve been there, done that! But, to be honest, I did not have my basics right. Hey, better late than never!

After my last bra shopping disaster, I did some research and had a revelation. So, everything I (thought) knew about bras was wrong!

But worry not, I have it all sorted out now! Let’s take it from the top, unlearn, and relearn. Together!

How To Choose The Right Bra?

Choosing the right bra is nothing but knowing your exact bra size for every type. However, we can’t just magically arrive at this number. We need to work backwards and connect a few dots to get there. So, before we deep dive into learning how to measure and understand other aspects, let’s go over a few pointers.

As a rule of thumb, your bra should fit snugly around your body. It should neither be too tight nor too loose.

Always hook your bra at the closest (first) eye and run your two fingers along the breadth. Your fingers should slide comfortably. The bra will loosen up with time, and you can hook it on the next eye then.

If your bra is riding up your back and you’re always pulling it down, you need a smaller size (band).

Bend forward and wear your bra so that everything goes into the cup and nothing hangs on the wire.

Make sure the cup is taut, and there is no extra room.

Move your arms around like a windmill to see if your breasts are falling out or hanging from the bottom, your bra is riding up, etc. In that case, try adjusting the straps first. Otherwise, you will need to go with a smaller cup size.

If your bra straps are pinching or digging into your shoulders, or there is spillage of breasts, making the two of them look like four, you need a bigger size.

When you go up or down your bra size, the cup size also differs. For example, if your size is 34B, a bigger size for you would be 36A. Or, if you want a smaller size than you choose 32C and vice versa.

It is easier to determine your band size first, and then map it with your cup size.

Remember that your breasts should be approximately midway between your elbows and shoulders.

The cups will do the heavy lifting and the straps will support them, so do not forget to adjust them the first time around.

How To Measure Bra Size?

Honestly, there is not one hard and fast rule that says one size fits all, not all bra types, I mean. It is worth mentioning that you must try a bra of every type before you are sure of the size. There would not be a radical difference in the sizes for every type/brand, but there would, most definitely, be some. Research shows that 80% women are oblivious of their true bra size. And for all you know, you might be wearing an incorrect one as we speak. The most obvious aspect we all go wrong with is the band size, amongst several others.

How to Pick the Perfect Lingerie

Here are a few tips you could follow to make sure your lingerie purchase is a good one.

Variety Variety

Avoid buying the same old variety. If your wife or girlfriend already has several chemises, it wouldn’t make sense to give her another of the same. Try out something else you know she would be comfortable in.

Beautiful and Daring

You definitely know that a woman looks her best when she feels beautiful from within. Make sure you get her something she would want to be in, rather than something that would make her uncomfortable. Figure out how daring she can be, and pick the perfect one for her.

Textures and Materials

There are several varieties of lingerie and all of them don’t come in just satin or lace.

If your girl likes some other material better, say cotton, try and pick up something in that material, like a pretty cotton camisole and probably a pajama set that will make her look cute and va va voom at the same time.

Go Smaller, Never Bigger

You can flatter your woman with the perfect lingerie as long as it’s sized correctly.

If you aren’t sure about the size then go for a safe purchase like gowns, chemises and baby dolls, these are clothing that are quite generous in fabric and not too tight fitting. Pick one that is one size or customizable to fit a variety of sizes. When in doubt, it’s better to go smaller than larger. She can always return it, and her ego will thank you when it’s the smaller size.

Wired Endowment

If your woman is well endowed, she probably would need an extra support. If her cup size is D or larger, you might need to purchase lingerie that provides a lot of support to the chest. An underwire bra would be a good option. But if you can’t make the right choice, you could always ask the sales person who would gladly help you pick the perfect one with plenty of support.

Choosing the Perfect One

Don’t settle for something you don’t think your sweetheart would like. These days there are several styles and colors of lingerie. Take your time in selecting the right one. Don’t feel awkward or discouraged if one store doesn’t have what you have in mind. Take a look around different shops and choose the perfect one.

The most important thing you have to remember is to have fun while shopping. The attendants in lingerie stores come across several men walking in everyday, and they’re more than happy to help you out. There’s no point in picking up anything they give you and walking out of the store as quickly as possible.

At the end of the day, you’ve come to the store to pick something that your partner would appreciate, so don’t hesitate to ask for help or linger around till you pick the perfect lingerie.

How to Find Lingerie for Your Body Type

How to Find Lingerie for Your Body Type is a question that  annoys every women, but don’t worry, I hope you know to do it after you read the article.

Shopping for a bra and panty nowadays is pretty utilitarian to most women. You buy a bra to enhance your breast shape and keep the headlights at bay, you buy the panties to complete the outfit and protect your lady parts from unforgiving pant fabrics. But what about lingerie as a whole? Mostly, we go for those lacy underthings because they make us feel stylish, strong, sexy or all of the above. But how do we decide which pieces to buy, aside from what your halter top or see-through blouse requires, or what you’ve seen trending on Instagram? It’s all about fit! Here’s how to shop for lingerie for your body type.

Broad Shoulders

If your shoulders are wider and a bit more broad, compared to the rest of your slim waist and legs, a flared babydoll is your go-to. A babydoll can flatter your shoulders and the flared bottom will give volume to your bottom half, balancing out your figure top to bottom.

Hourglass

Your breasts and hips are equally proportioned, and your waist is your smallest measurement. The perfect styles for hourglass shapes is anything that’ll accentuate your waist. Try a set with a garter belt. Not only are they super nifty for stocking occasions, but it emphasizes your waist.

Itty Bitties

Small chests don’t need as much support, and sometimes ditching the bra is an obvious option. If your straps are always falling and strapless bras tend to become a belt when you hit the dance floor (the YMCA is tricky) try out a racerback bralette.

Pear

Your body is smaller up top: smaller chest and narrow shoulders, and your thighs and booty are on the thicker side. Draw the eye from top to bottom and show a little skin. A plunging neckline or strong graphic print will do the trick!

Petite

Being petite all over means you can wear tops meant for smaller chests that are meant for fashion over ‘function.’ Go for styles that have volume without overwhemling your petite shape.

Busty

Having a bigger bust doesn’t make it ‘easier’ to feel sexy in lingerie. Your top half may be ideal to fill out a cute bra, but if you have a smaller bottom or narrower hips it becomes a challenge to shop by set. In order to balance out your busty top but smaller bottom, try a panty with a thick waistband or high waist.

Long Torso

Having shorter legs and a longer torso is sort of a blessing this season since high waisted everything is all the rage. Try a high waisted bottom, or go for a lacy crop top set to draw the attention to your legs and shoulders.

So do you know how to choose lingerie now, I hope you already have your ideas.
